I agree with what BossC said. {thumb2} I'd just like to add that more and more members are joining Fanmail only to sell things - there's another member, uniqueautos, who also do this. I'm afraid that Fanmail might turn into some eBay type of place where we only sell things, which is not the purpose of this site. {down} This is primarily a site to test/post feedback, not to sell autographs. We have had countless members like kelvin and uniqueautos here, and even though they're trustworthy, they're just using this site to advertise and they don't contribute at all. :? It's like I sell cars on a gaming forum (I don't! this is just an example) - it won't work. Each forum has a specific purpose, and here only loyal members who have constructive posts may sell - rules are rules. ;)

As a general rule, trading/buying online is a "do at your own risk" thing anyway.

If people are comfortable enough with him to do it, we can't really order them not to--that said, I don't think we should encourage them.

My opinion, keep locking his threads until he reaches the constuctive 100 posts and just hope for the best with his pm trades. If he rips someone off, THEN we will have a real problem.

Hi everybody!

As you probably remember, in april, jason noticed that kelvin911 was trying to reach 100 post in order to be allowed to post in the Sell/Trade forum:
http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic ... 8&t=132847
We eventually decided to consider only the constructive posts and to lock all his sell/trade threads on the board.

After a while he started to sell his autographs in the "Wanted" forum and keeping on bumping the thread to encourage people to do buisness with him via PM:
http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic ... 8&t=133847

Now he's still trading/selling via PMs  :
http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic ... 8&t=134638

What do you think about this??

Have a very nice day! ;-)
LeMon

P.S. I also need some help for the "FEEDBACKS SECTION", it's getting hard for me to look after this thread every day and I ask you at least to edit it by yourselves when you have to add a feedback.
Thank You! ;-)
