All the GM's have the ability to demote/promote any member, not just those on their team (well, sort of!). So that means that we'll be able to help with all the Mods and TM's. :)

The best we can do is to make sure we have a great and knowledgeable moderating team, then at least we can count on them. {thumb2}

I'll help by keeping the "unworthy" (so called!) TM's under control, so you can pm me if you'd like me to help out.

I agree about at least 200/300 constructive posts, and a member for at least 6 months (it took me 2 years before I became a TM!). {up}

To be honest, I really do think this is a great idea, and is highly needed for this website to run fairly and smoothly {up}
It would make more sense as well, as many people get promoted as TM's and really have no idea what they're talking about, and some only have a few posts!! :roll:

I think you should have to be a member for at least 6months, and also have 250 constructive posts! {up}

I might have just stuck my foot in my mouth, but I posted a question asking if anyone would like to help make TM/Mod rules/guidelines.
(Rules/guidelines like:
{star} Be member 6 months
{star} Have 200 constructive posts, etc)

I can edit my comment out, I guess, but I wanted to ask you other Mods/GMs: if someone develops a list and we all agree on it, WILL IT WORK? There are a few stickies in the TM forum about this but they are all outdated--the TMs are called JM--that was at least 2007, wasn't it?! So it needs to be updated at least. I know there has been issues with Admin promoting people other mods do not consider worthy and if he will just ignore our rules it probably isn't worth our time to make a list and post it. (Someone was promoted to TM with 6 posts! Look at: http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=25763 )

I volunteered to help with it (be the mod to contact, at least) and have no idea if people will volunteer to do it or not, but I figured I better ask what you thoughts were before we got to far into it.
