I know! The member whosurdaddy posted a topic about how rude TheMailman was being to her . . . I think that was one of the first times I have ever been on the same side as whosurdaddy :lol:

Hi!!

A few days, my sister Euge received an autograph of her favourite actor, Jared Padalecki.

He is very rude with some of our topics....

by Joey » Mon Aug 28, 2006 3:15 am

I agree that he has a tendency to be rude, but I don't know if he has done anything that really warrants a warning. Although he often has a negative attitude and can be quite rude and sarcastic, he does not violate the terms of serrvice by using expletives/bad language, which seems to be one of the more common problems among our more feisty members:

I personally think he has a bad attitude and is rude to many members. I do know he's in a probationary period, but can he not be warned? He has a tendency to be rude and offensive to others on the board.

It is a bit odd for TheMailman to be starting a poll out of the blue. TheMailman's has been really critical of SFM's, and has also been a bit disruptive in some other threads too.

I also replied to another post he made in the SFM forum:

I don't know if TheMailman is just doing it for attention, or the fact that he has too much time on his hands (I'm assuming he's on summer holiday at the moment).

Could he be doing it to increase his post count for one reason or another? TheMailman hasn't been on this forum for that long. I remember it was probably a bit before, or around the time I posted my Pierce Brosnan success that TheMailman had recently started posting after a long absence (and also changed his username to its current form). He's now up to 1000+ posts after less than a month since returning to the forum.

[agree] with you Joey. I really think he's over-estimating his position on the forum, and I really think we were right in not voting him in as a full moderator a while ago ....

Thanks for posting this here, Lisa {up}

I just think it was strange of him to start a poll about it. I mean, he brought it up in Forum Ideas, and I think that's where it should've stayed.

It seems to me like maybe he is overestimating his position :? Also, just the way he posted bothered me, what with the emoticon and all . . . oh well :lol:

I completely agree with Joey's post about this being an inappropriate thing for this Junior Moderator to be bringing up. I think we should keep a close eye on this kind of situation. I just wanted to post a link to it for those moderators who might not regularly check all of the forums.
