Hi guys!

I'm back

Had a fantastic time in London! Didn't see Duncan in Birmingham so that was 8 hours spent in a bus for no good but it didn't matter cos I had lots of other fun

Went to the premiere for The Holiday which was my first premiere ever and boy it was crowded! Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet both walked right past me but I did manage to get Jude Law's autograph twice which was really great cos he was the one I wanted the most

Will post pics from the premiere later in the IP section

Hi Ian

Thank you for another post with great tips of places I should visit

I know what you mean. It always brings out a very special and nice feeling to go to these kind of events

I have actually been to Hamleys 3 years ago but I will convince my friends so we can go again. I am going with 3 co-students/friends and even though we're supposed to study we are also planning on just having a good time

7 days should be enough to do a bit of both.

I am more a sightseeer than a shopper - I'm a student, plus we'd be in London - not exactely the cheapest combination

I know that the All Saints girls switched the lights on in Oxford Street this year as well. I totally love seeing the lights in London at Christmas. I am such a sucker for all that nostalgia stuff, and I am always one of the many people on Oxford Street on Christmas Eve - panic shopping!

If you have time you totally have to go to Hamleys toy store ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamleys ) which is the biggest toystore in the UK and just like "Miracle on 34th Street at Christmas"

Also, Harrods is well worth a visit ( http://www.harrods.com/Cultures/en-GB/homepageindex.htm )

I will have to stop now, otherwise I am going to fill up your "educational trip" with shopping and sightseeing

I am not that good at finding that sort of info myself. I just saw that the stars from Flushed Away lit the lights in Regent Street earlier this month - would have loved to see that!

Once again, thank you so much! I am now going to take a look those websites and see if I find anything else interesting...
