Guys, I know that you're quite upset at those two being made AE's, but I assure you that if they continue to act in the way that they have in the past, Admin will remove them. As of right now, it's just a temporary move. If they exhibit any inappropriate behavior, please do let us know.

I guess that I'm a believer in second, third, etc. chances. I do believe that they have good intentions, only that they oftentimes their true meanings get garbled by their "rude" comments. Just give them a chance. That's all I ask. If they continue to be rude, I can assure you that they will be demoted.

Just give them a chance in the meantime.

I believe moves like these are the main reason the moderators are leaving, has anyone else noticed how few active mods are on the site now? not many

whosurdaddy takes shots at the mods every time he gets a chance, I remember him saying a few times the only reason he comes to this site was for a good laugh

I can't believe my eyes, honestly. This whole situation is completely ridiculous. Let's see, first of all, there's jason.autos. He attacked me via PM (this is a whole thread on this here in the Mods forum) and he continues to repeatedly attack all Mods in general. He was one of the driving forces in why we lost one of the best Mods that we've ever had, David (Manu80). And I won't even [b]begin[/b] with whosurdaddy, we all know of his reputation.

If these two are going to be AEs [u]permanently[/u], this is the last straw for me. I thought good things were going to be happening with Ian's new system (which I do like for the most part and it was a great idea). But now TMs are being promoted that don't serve any purpose and it seems like any and [b]ALL[/b] behavior is now tolerated here (be that selling fakes, posting fakes, members being insulting and rude to other members without any ramifications). This site has gone downhill in a hurry and I am definitely not the only Mod to have realized that. This is just one more shining example of what's going wrong.

It's the "Is my autograph authentic?" forum. I still need 2 more volunteers.

rpbluesman, I think that Admin's going to create the new forum sometime in the next few days. He mentioned that in the "Forum Ideas" forum in the authenticity forum thread.

Im still not sure Jason should get a shot after trying to rip off a fellow member. I'll try dig up the info I was talking about to confirm it was him though.

The threadstarter and I conversed via PM, and he told me jason.autos (or whatever his name is) offered him them to trade, and that they were 100% authentic, obtained IP by a friend. After chock.lee made the thread, the story changed to "I asked my friend and he said he got them TTM via Milan". So they've gone from a behind closed doors deal "100% authentic IP autographs", to "TTM secretarials" as soon as it was bought up on the board.

May be innocent, but to me thats highly suspicious :neutral:

I have to agree with rpbluesman at the moment, but lets see how things go in the meantime. I know that they are fairly knowledgeable, but they have been the source of quite a lot of trouble in the past. I'm of course willing to give them a shot though...
