Why didn't she just give it to him? Probably because 1)you're not the first person to try that and 2)he wants all autograph requests to go through his agency. His wife is under no obligation to forward it to him.

Because people have swamped his home address with requests. You have to remember every person that thinks 'ill just try and send it anyway' and sends it to his house - that mail all goes to the same place. Im sure they are able to spot which envelopes are fanmail by now, and they are clearly getting hundreds of people hoping for one last signing. It isn't gonna happen. You're too late.

That's what I don't get though? I know somebody that sent him pictures a couple of days ago and he got feedback, he sent it to him via pal Mel productions and got an authentic one. So that's why I don't understand why gene wouldn't have just signed it when it got delivere at his home.

Lol wow so even after 3 fails and knowing he stopped signing you still sent to his wife trying lol lucky you got another letter back instead of them just trashing your stuff. Give up and respect his wishes I'm sure you can buy one if he does another private signing or check eBay if you just gotta have his autograph lol but that's just my opinion.

I decided to send Gene a letter and a picture once again, even though I've been getting fails from him 3 times. But, unlike some people. I decided to address his wife's names on the envelope with the home address. I was hoping for his wife to open it without any agency's, but she must have opened it and forwarded it to the agency. Gene may be old and tired, but I can't see why she couldn't have just gave it to him ... Does anyone have an opinion?
