Hey everyone,

I agree...I don't think Dallas is really ready to be promoted to a veteran moderator!!! I also wasn't aware that you could "ask" to be promoted, but then again it does make sense...somewhat. I'm glad that being a moderator in 3 or more forums does not apply to becoming a veteran mod! Even if it did, I don't believe Dallas would necessarily be qualified, even though he is a good mod. He is a moderator in a number of boards and it doesn't quite seem like he can handle them all...ex. in the Add/Request a 'Via-venue' address forum he asks more for addresses than supplying addresses or help to members. Christine and I have both been discussing this between TheMailman and Dallas...sometimes they are helpful and others times they aren't.

But anyways, those are just my two cents! {up}

I always assumed Dallas was male, mainly because Dallas is a boys name.

Anyways, even though Dallas didn't technically ask, I'm still going to have to say no. I don't see him as one who dedicates a large portion of his time to the forum.

It seems that Dallas is a bit confused as a result of the current ranking system, but Ian made the point clear in the sticky in the Moderators forum:
