A great success from an Balon D'or winner, Gianni Rivera. Internationally, he represented Italy 63 times, scoring 15 goals, and took part at four World Cups (1962,1966, 1970, and 1974). Rivera was also a member of the first Italian side to win the European Football Championship in 1968. He was awarded the Ballon d'Or in 1969. He won the Italian League (3): 1961–62, 1967–68, 1978–79, Coppa Italia (4): 1966–67, 1971–72, 1972–73, 1976–77, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup (2): 1967–68, 1972–73, European Cup (2): 1962–63, 1968–69, and Intercontinental Cup (1): 1969.
