Jeff, I just finished watching this episode, and really enjoyed it, as I've been on 2 dogsledding trips myself--in MN and ON. I also visited AK in '84, including Skagway, though I didn't see all you did. Since then, I've been receiving Alaska Magazine, and have learned a lot more about the state during this time. You may already know this, but in case you don't, the difference between a caribou and a reindeer is that a caribou is a reindeer of North America. Also, a bear is a grizzly when farther inland than 25 miles; otherwise it's a brown bear.
