Thanks nowandagain and cernan {up}

My mistake :oops: (I just copied it from the Global Moderators list supplied to me by Admin ;-) ) - but I'll forgive you Admin :D

I fully respect your decision guys, but I didn't want to give him an outright no without putting it to a vote first.

Sorry for the late reply everyone, I've been so busy at the moment I've only been checking momenatrily every few days :?

I've also voted no. I feel that he isn't quite ready to be a global moderator yet, and also the fact that we probably already have enough global moderators for the time being.

Ian - even though we don't have a UK global mod, you're considered the UK admin ... so I think that's good enough :wink:. Plus, as cernan mentioned loveryan is the global moderator and not celebrityfan, which makes 2 global moderators from Europe.

I can see you're point Ian, but some would say that having an admin from the UK is a good representation point booster. (Those last three words make sense :lol: )

Erm...Ian, celebrityfan isn't a Global Mod. I think that you meant loveryan, who happens to be in Spain. :lol:

Hi guys {up}

Looks like it is going to be a no then :D

My main reason for persuing this is that unfortunately we currently have no UK Global Moderators at all, the list goes as follows:

cernan [us]
ldy josie x [us]
lutherjw [us]
rpbluesman [us]
ozzman [us]
Chrissy [ca]
Larisie [ca]
celebrityfan [ca]
nowandagain [au]
FatimaDenmark [denmark]

I feel this is little unrepresentative of our members and despite having no senior UK moderators, we also have only one European representative in the shape of Fatima.

Thanks for your quick voting. I'll let James know.

I still believe that people shouldnt ask to become a GM. I see it as a special tag that the admins give to someone who they believe are doing a very good job or in other ways have stood out ...

I noticed that too.

I'm sort of in the "middle-ground." He really is helpful most of the time, but yes, he is a bit on the young side in terms of age.

Couldn't have said it better :)

I'm going to have to vote "no" :neutral:

I have to agree with rpbluesman and Admin. He does a wonderful job in the IP Success Forum, but there's that tendency of his to get wound up in quarrels. And once he gets into an argument, he doesn't always resolve it well.

He is also one of the younger Moderators in terms of age. I don't think that he's entirely ready. :neutral: He has also made some fairly rude remarks in the past...

I have to say No at the moment. Perhaps in the future...

I also had to say no. For the same reasons mentioned by rpbluesman :neutral:
