What kind of restrictions are you thinking about?

Hm .... in the "Is This Address Still Up-to-Date?" section, only admin has power to reply to threads... Maybe we could implement something like that in the new section, but also allow Moderators and Autograph Experts to reply to these threads....

Just a thought. {thumb2}

Well I was originally thinking about having moderators "approve" every post, but realized that it could get a bit tedious.

Perhaps you could instill a password protected forum, so that only those who wanted to enter could PM a Mod for a password and then enter. That way those who "don't want to know" won't have to know.

Just a thought...

Sounds like a good idea. At least those people not wishing to know the authenticity of their autographs would not have to go in there :lol:

My only concern is that any 'heated' discussions in the forum should not be allowed to spill out onto the rest of the board. i.e. arguments carried on outside amongst people who have disagreed over authenticity whilst in the new forum :?

Also, it should be made very clear in the description text (on the main board page) exactly what the new forum is for, so that people have a proper idea of whether they want to go in or not.

Just my two pennies worth :D

I agree.
It would definitely be very useful (since that question always comes up in threads), but we're going to have to need serious rules and keep a close watch on the forum.

Sounds like it could be a useful tool. I'm all for it. But people may start a lot of arguments in there :neutral:
