Forgot to mention that one, sorry. Of course it did. But at the same time I also believe that we have all done stupid things in the past. If we regret it and change our behaviour people deserve another chance. He didn't seem like he regretted it so and claimed it was real so it had to be a no.

There are several reasons for this...
- Most of us in here said no.
- He isn't online enough.
- I senced a bit of unfriendly and immature vibes from him and combined with the rest of the mods not wanting him promoted could lead to lots of discussions and trouble.

So for this time I say no. He can ask for another poll to be started in 2 months.

I want to post a tread in the Trainee section with some examples on what qualities we are looking for in upcoming moderators. So they can see where they need to be before they have a realistic chance of getting approved. This way they will also understand a "no" better in stead of taking it personally.

I'm still waiting for his reply to my PM which I sent 2 days ago. He hasn't read it yet.

You are right. Each Overall Moderator has the right to accept or reject a new Moderator / Trainee Moderator in his/her team.

True, but look at it like this.

If you go to buy apples at the store....you get rid of the bad ones before you buy them. You don't buy a big batch of apples and tehn throw away the bad ones later.

I don't see why there's any debate. I'm with Andy 1000000000000000% on this. He faked a success, and there was proof of it. Why should he even still be considered to be a moderator?
