We used to have one....

I reccomend at least 10 if not 20 posts before you can use the PM system

Hi Nowandagain :)
Shouldn't there be a minimum post count so that we don't start receiving unwanted PM's, and/or reduce the occurance of issues with unwarranted PM's? I haven't been online very much but I have noticed a few threads in the Moderators forum in relation to PM issues.
I agree {up} I'll add the MOD to the message board :?

Minimum post count to send PM's?

by nowandagain » Thu Apr 10, 2008 11:13 am

Hi everyone :D

First of all, apologies for not being online much in recent times. I've been very busy working full time and undertaking further study at the same time.

I was just wondering ... wasn't there a minimum post count (5?) in order to send PM's at one point?

The reason I ask is that there have been recent times where I have received PM's (and I would assume others as well) from new members who have not posted on the forums whatsoever.

Shouldn't there be a minimum post count so that we don't start receiving unwanted PM's, and/or reduce the occurance of issues with unwarranted PM's? I haven't been online very much but I have noticed a few threads in the Moderators forum in relation to PM issues.

Perhaps an implementation of such measures will aid in this situation.
