"Love" is what my wife said the first time she saw it. So that's what we'll go with.

Randy Newman is one of my favorites, congratulations! I have seen several of his signed items where he closes with "love" before signing, I think that is what those letters are supposed to be.

My very first Via Venue Success!
I sent an LOR, Photo and SASE to Randy Newman on Oct 2 2008 for a concert he was playing on the 8th. I rec’d my photo back personalized on Oct 13 2008.
I told Mr. Newman I was a big fan and that I was disappointed I was out of town on vacation the day he played near my town. On the photo he asks “where were you?” :razz:

I have attached a close up of the sig. Does anyone have any idea what he wrote below the “John, where were you.”? It’s only three letters. It sort of looks like “luck”, but there is no “K”. Hmmmm….
