Can't say I didn't expect it, but someone else around the same time/address got an authentic! Oh well...
Glenn Close is of course well known, but I have always loved her for her contributions to the Theatre. She originated the role of "NORMA DESMOND" in the 1993 re-worked version of ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER's "SUNSET BLVD." The Musical. Close was only intended for the LA Run, but ended up taking the role to the Broadway stage, forcing Patti LuPone who was told the role was hers, to sue Lloyd Webber. Close and the show itself, won nearly every Tony it was eligible for, with virtually no competition.
