Someone met Robin at the Tower Theater recently and posted in the "In Person" section. Your auto is definitely not authentic. It's a shame people try to pull one over on us autograph collectors. I'd much rather get nothing back from someone than get back something I believe is real and then have the dream shattered later. Just makes you feel even worse later on. Better luck next time!

I always wonder why people do that. Do they think they're being nice to us, saving us from some kind of disappointment? Or do they sign a fake signature in order to be purposely malicious?

Annoying and unnecessary, either way.

I do wonder though who signed it as it certainly doesnt look anything like his usual suspected secretials. I suspect that someone who works at the venue did it.

If I get a reply ia venue I wonder what I will get. I wonder if he does sign authenticlly via venue atall and this just wasnt passed on to him or got held up in the post and didnt arrive till he left. Whatevver, I intend to get him in person next year when he hopeully comes to the Uk for a premier of one of his films that come out next year. He is my all time want.

definitely not his signature, sorry!
Haha, yeah. That's about how I felt when I opened it up. I thought I'd post it on here anyway. My poor little index card traveled from Indiana to New York and back for a signature that looks nothing like his. I'm not too bummed out, though. Just kind of comes with territory of collecting.

Sent to Elliott Hall of Music at Purdue University on August 30: Letter, SASE, Index Card.

Received on October 30: Signed Index Card

Hello everybody! Not sure what to think of this one. I sent this to Purdue for his one night show on October 2. I received this almost a month later. The return address is the one on the database, 1 Blackfield Dr. #409 Tiburon, CA 94920. However, it is postmarked from Brooklyn, NY. The signature doesn't really look like others on the forum, then some say those aren't real either. Honestly, I'm surprised I got anything back at all.

I would love to hear your thoughts!
