I sent a SASE, 8x10, and note to [u]Karen Gillan[/u] months ago. I had zero expectations of success.
I saw a few people had success in the spring with the "Avengers" set address with other actors so I took a flier.

[b]However, my envelope came back with a post mark from [u]Vancouver, BC, Canada[/u][/b] in a different envelope with Canadian stamps with my original SASE inside with the photo. The writing on the envelope looks female - but there's no way Karen Gillan sent it herself? No way. That would be a first for me. Somehow it got to her in a very roundabout way and back to me?!?!?!
