Yes, when I saw the envelope, I thought "not good!", but I suppose the photo doesn't look too bad in person - at least it's not ripped or anything!

He signed in green marker on a dark photo, so it's hard to see regardless, but oh well, I'd much rather have it than no reply.

It's the first time this sort of thing has happened to me, so I've been lucky in the past.

Thank you for your kind comment, Anita! I might try him again, as he's got quite a lot of films in development, however I am just happy I got something from him!

That's interesting, I may have to consider things like that in the future... Thankfully this doesn't happen to me very often, the worst that usually happens is my mailman bends my envelopes. But it's a pity the photo got wet, I am just grateful the signature didn't rub off (I'm surprised it didn't, as it's in green and the photo is glossy).
