I agree, he is awesome. Whenever I see him on talk shows he is so unaffected, you'd never know he was a sir, as he certainly doesn't mind when people don't use his title. I don't like thinking about it either.
Well hopefully when he is in New Zealand this summer, people will be more polite to him.
It was kinda funny, but the last time he visited
The View in December, Whoopi Goldberg asked if he would be returning to
Harry Potter as Dumbledore. Sir Ian replied, "Well, if I was Michael Gambon I would be." He was very polite and shrugged it off (or so it looked), but Whoopi was very apologetic and all. I guess she was caught in the moment and got confused, haha.
