Shortly after I wrote to Alan Rickman at the BAM Harvey Theater in New York (which had great results!), I wrote to Geoffrey Rush, who was performing "Diary of a Madman" at the same venue. I couldn't decide whether to send a pic of Captain Barbossa, my favorite character from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series, or of Lionel Logue, his Oscar-nominated character from "The King's Speech," which is one of my favorite films. So, I sent one pic with both!
Today, I got it back, and it is definitely the most unique autograph in my collection! He signed each pic in a different pen, fit the lower personalization into the lights, and gave Jack the Monkey something to say, which I've seen that he likes to do (and upside down, no less!). The time and care with which he signed the pics are evident, which means a lot to me! Thanks, Mr. Rush!
