well i have had alot of success and equal failure using IRCs. Yes, the main reason I see them not working is becasue its easy to put an envelope in a bag for collection or drop in a mail box, but often the venue wont go to the effort, time and energy to send someone to the nearest post office, exchange the IRC and post back. I sure hope it works here, not sure why ur ausie stamps work as UK stamps certianly dont, ur lucky. I have tried slipping a few $ in occasionally and that can help. If anyone will reply with them, i think robin will, he is nice to his fans

Most people don't know what to do with IRCs , sadly .

When I sent to the States , I eventually stopped sending them , and started sending $5 , which you can get easily from lots of places - IRCs aren't always freely available . Sending money sometimes doesn't work ( and you sometimes lose it ) , but sending IRCs was worse , and to be able to pay for postage to the UK from the USA , you need to enclose maybe 5 IRCs anyway - lots of people only send one and that is no way enough to ship something back from the States .

I am in Australia and I always just use Aussie stamps and everything comes back no problem. ESP for vv as it's just a theatre not an office, who would go trade the irc in for stamps? Up to you though but I am just letting you know what works for me!

i guess simply that his work took over and didnt have the time, at least hes making a good effort VV now, hope it continues:)

I do wonder why he stopped siging authentically through the mail, as when I got him that way in 2002 it was authentic (matches other in persons I have seen and these recent vv ones).

I think Robin will continue to be great VV here, on ocasions where people have tried to write to other temporary VV addy's , ie for his weapons of self destruction tour he wasnt there for long each venue so thats why I think he only sent secs, here i think his fanmial will continued to be forwarded to him. I think he will endevour to try to reply to everyone who writes, he truly cares about his fans, i have witnessed that in person. Wishing everyone good luck in getting Robin :)
