This is probably the longest I've ever had to wait for a failure... I sent out to Cheryl Freeman via a show she was doing in New York back in October to start off my "Hercules" poster (she voiced one of the Muses) and when a month passed and I hadn't heard anything back I figured I could write it off as a goner. Instead, I got my pictures and letter back yesterday in my SASE with a note from an employee at the Urban Stages stating that Cheryl wasn't affiliated with them and that I should pursue her through her agency. I'd take this to mean that Urban Stages doesn't pass on fanmail since I formatted it the normal way for a show and they somehow thought I was trying to write to her as an employee of the company. It was a nice personalized letter, though, and the writer did go on for a bit about how "Hercules" is the best Disney movie ever so I guess it wasn't all a failure? It was just a surprise autograph from someone I never knew I wanted.

I suppose the best part is that they didn't mark the stamps on my envelope so I'll just reuse it to send a letter to the Muse currently on Broadway, Roz Ryan.
