Sent a letter and SASE requesting a signed playbill on 5/25/11 to:
Cast of 'War Horse'
attn: Stage Manager
Vivian Beaumont Theater
150 West 65th Street
New York, NY 10023
Received a letter back today on 6/6/11 from the stage manager requesting that I send a $25 donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS before they would send me a signed playbill. I would be happy to make a small donation, but not $25.
Especially not for a cast that isn't very well-known.
This same thing happened to me with Jersey Boys last year, but these are the only two shows that have sent me this kind of letter.
Oh well, I'll just have to skip this one.
