that is super kool i have been trying to get hers for a long time. i have been a fan of hers for a long time now.i wrote to her when she came to seattle and have it gotten anything and i also wrote to her fan mail that u used and nothing yet so maybe she is getting her mail now. i really like the photo u sent.

I sent to Joan Jett through a concert 2 months ago and received my photo back signed and inscribed with a lovely message from last week. I am not sure wherre to put this because the return address, that I didn't write on it, was the black heart records group address. It must have been forwarded. :) So thank you to all those involved with that. ;) SO that's the beautiful part.

but the odd part is that the postmark on the envelope is solomons md. Sorry but I just don't remember what venue I sent to. :( Here's an article about her playing at solomons Md in the end of March. http://www.somdsnapshot.com/2011/03/31/day-136-zz-top-and-joan-jett-the-blackhearts-live-in-solomons/ But I just got it last week. The thing is, I am almost certain it is authentic but I was just baffled by the situation of it. :P

Now, I have been seriously collecting autographs TTM since 2005 and never have I received something back in such banged up shape. I am forever grateful of this success because I didn't think I'd get it back because Concert responses take 1-2 weeks commonly. And I had sent her to the same address over a year ago so that might be buried in more fanmail of hers. lol

The point is, it looked like it had been dragged through a swamp, left out to dry, then dragged again, and stuffed in my mail box. Half the envelope was dripping when I reached to grab it. Thankfully, the picture did not smear or anything since it's printed on low quality paper but the picture is banged up too. Aside from that, her message make up for all of that. She is one of my favorite musicians of all time so I am very pleased with this. Good luck to anyone else sending her! :)
