I read that Pete Townshend was giving this years 6 Music John Peel lecture at the Lowry in Salford on 31 October 2011 and thought this may be my chance to get his autograph via venue. I contacted the venue via e-mail and had a lovely reply from the theatres programme director asking me to send my item to him. He said he couldn't promise he would get me the autograph but he would try his best.
I sent the CD cover of Whos Next to the venue and today I received this back signed by Pete Townshend with a note from the programme director. I am well chuffed with this and cannot thank him enough for getting this for me.
