Sorry about your failure. I have tried him a half dozen times over the years, and either received my stuff back unsigned, or never heard back at all. I have given up on him. He has been busy since 2008.

Didnt think he would be that busy.
Ten seconds for two autos is all it would take.
I was going to write via management but wont now.

On 26th September 2011, I sent a LOR SASE and 2 photos to Mark Knopfler c/o one of his UK venues he was playing with Bob Dylan. sadly today i received my photos returned unsigned in my SAE with a letter from his management saying he is just too busy to sign :(
