Jonathan Pryce SUCCESS

by jmd2225 » Tue Jun 19, 2012 2:58 pm

I got a rather sad success back yesterday. One of the pieces I was most proud of was a multi-signature "Pirates of the Caribbean" piece that had Geoffrey Rush, Lee Arenberg, and Mackenzie Crook on it. When I heard that Jonathan Pryce was appearing in a play in New York, I knew that he was the next one to add. Unfortunately, I got it back with a very nice handwritten note that said that the envelope had arrived with severe water damage, and that he had tried to salvage it as best he could but it "wasn't looking good". Luckily (as far as these things go, I guess) I was able to peel some of the damage away, and it's mostly relegated to the right border of the photo, which I'm hoping to be able to frame out once I have it done. In any case, hopefully there'll be enough signatures crowded around on it by the end that nobody will notice the damage! Whether or not it looks amazing anymore, with four signatures and a bit of money poured into this, I'm not giving up... no matter what! I think it's being sent overseas next, to either Tom Hollander, Jack Davenport, or Kevin McNally.
