I sent a letter to the Emmerdale address in the database on 31/08/2012. On 17/09/2012, I received 44 different unsigned photos featuring different characters on the show. Amongst the ones I got in the package were Bob Hope, Zak Dingle, Carl King, Jimmy King, Chastity Dingle, Charity Sharma, Ashley Thomas, Cain Dingle, Marlon Dingle, Nicola King, Jai Sharma, Eric Pollard and Moira Barton.
This marks a number of milestones in my career as an autographed photo/fan card collector.
1.) I have scored my 500th ever success.
2.) I have scored the 100th successful reply in 2012
3.) I have set a personal collector record (I received 44 different fan cards in one working day.)
4.) This success has helped me complete a Fanmail project marking Emmerdale's 40th anniversary.
And 5.) I now have 529 successful replies in my collection meaning that there are more replies in my collection than there are episodes of The Simpsons. (only 526 episodes made.)
