I have also heard that about Nesmith. And he will sign solo stuff, I was able to get him last year.

I don't know if it's true, or to what extent, but I've heard Mike Nesmith doesn't sign Monkees items anymore. But he signs his solo work I'm also told, hope I'm wrong but either way I hope it helps you get your autograph!! GOOD LUCK! -

I sent out a 7" sleeve that I'd previously got signed by Davy Jones and Micky Dolenz to Mike Nesmith via the Beacon Theater in New York, where the Monkees were playing the last night of their recent tour (I saw them at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles a few weeks before, but had no luck catching the guys). The concert was on Sunday and this showed up in my mailbox today, along with my letter back. Mike didn't sign, but whoever handled the Monkees' mail did get Peter Tork for me, which was a pleasant surprise.
