Hi everyone,
I'm aware I'm posting this late but better late than never. I sent the cast of "The Heiress" a letter and SASE around 1/22/13 and received a signed playbill (including Jessica Chastain) on 2/09/13 which was near the end of the production. I saw some successes where Jessica did not sign a batch of playbills but I was lucky enough to get one signed.
It is no exaggeration that she is one of my favorite actresses! Ever since I saw her in "The Help," I was fan. I even remember when she had a small role on "Veronica Mars." I love her in "The Help, Take Shelter, The Debt" to name a few. The handlers were even kind enough to enclose the signed playbill in a perfect fitted plastic sealing (never had that happen before...nice they took the time to do that). I'm fairly confident that all the signatures are authentic. I do hope to obtain a personalized success from Jessica again VV on an 8X10 photo so I can frame. In the end, I am extremely grateful for this success!
Though Jessica lost to Jennifer Lawrence for the Oscar this year, I am confident Jessica will win an Oscar one day. She's truly extraordinary...kind of reminds me of Cate Blanchett (Another wonderful actress). I wonder if Jessica will win a Tony for her work in "The Heiress" since I've only heard good things about her performance. I'm jealous of all those who have met her...I hope I have the chance to meet her myself one day. She's such a huge inspiration to me. I cannot believe she wasn't discovered earlier but I'm glad she's finally getting the recognition she deserves.
