The filming hasn't ended yet. It just started yesterday, in fact. Martin Freeman said that he's going to be there in June and July. I think you got an RTS because you sent it too early. Also, it's mostly filming for "There and Back Again" although they'll be doing pick-ups for Desolation as well. So, you should send it again in a few weeks.

They go back at the beginning of June until early August to do pickup/re-shoots, so you could try again if you wanted to. You may be able to get it to him.

Filming for the Hobbit series of films ended a long time ago.
