He was there. You didn't read the note, did you? He was there for TWO DAYS!!! Before I mailed it to NZ, I contacted Stone Street Studios if he was going to be there, then they told me to email 3 Foot 7 Ltd which is Sir Peter Jackson's casting department and they told me to go ahead and send it!

You are very persistent! I remember seeing your success. :) I hope you'll get yours from Aidan and Richard! I got mine from Aidan and some people already got theirs from Richard.

I'm so sorry, but don't give up!! Someday you'll get a reply from him! I tried him three times with no success, but on my fourth I finally got a reply from him.

Well, there are only failures from Martin Freeman, Benedict and RTS from Sylvester and Orlando. Other than that, there have been many VV successes from the rest of the cast.

If you haven't seen my other posts, I've got Graham McTavish (Dwalin), Aidan Turner (Kili), Stephen Hunter (Bombur), John Callen (Oin), Adam Brown (Ori), Dean O'Gorman (Fili), Evangeline Lilly (Tauriel), Jed Brophy (Nori), Mark Hadlow (Dori) and Ken Stott (Balin) all via "The Hobbit".
I'm still waiting for Richard Armitage as well (there were three so far from other people), and James Nesbitt (Bofur), William Kircher (Bifur), Peter Hambleton (Gloin) and Lee Pace (Thranduil).
There were also some successes from Sir Ian McKellen and Mikael Persbrandt (Beorn).

On [color=#0000FF]June 24, 2013[/color]: I sent two letters (one from me and my best friend), four 4x6 photos (one for myself, a sister, and two friends), and a SASE to the venue of

Today [color=#FF0000](July 25, 2013)[/color]: I received all my photos back (my letters were not returned) with a note from an employee from the casting department of "The Hobbit", in my SASE. :cry:

I'm really not surprised he wasn't able to sign my photos. I thought he wasn't going to be there at first, until I was notified that he was and that Sir Peter Jackson posted a pic of him with Martin Freeman on the set during pick-ups. Also, this is not as disappointing as my Martin Freeman failure since Martin was there for 2 months and Benedict was there for 2 days. I will just keep trying to get Benedict's. He is my MOST WANTED. This is my 3rd attempt (2nd for myself only) to get his autograph.
I suppose the employee threw away my letters?
