Yes, that is unfortunate and I can't speak for the way other venues may handle fan mail. If you want to wait until they announce the next Rush tour you can send to this IL venue early. One of the postmarks on the mail I saw was from April for the June show date, so it seems it was stored somewhere in the meantime.
Most of the venues here in Chicago seem to pass the mail along, so if there's anyone else you see stopping here send maybe 3-4 weeks ahead of the date and it should at least make it to the touring production office.

I sent to them at Copps when they were there 7.6 and didn't hear anything, so I sent again when they went to Enmax on 7.24 and still don't have anything back. Maaaaannnn!!! :cry: [/color]

{up} 8) [us] Just received this today, signed by all three members of Rush. Obtained through a friend on the tour, but I do know for a fact that the venue address below does pass on all fanmail to tours. I also have some inside information on how Rush specifically handles its fanmail.

The band's assistant will open the mail (normally only a few are present each day) and set it out on a table near the band's shared dressing room. Each member usually signs at his leisure between the time they arrive and the end of soundcheck. It's then left at the venue for a PA to deliver to the mailroom. Rush is very good about signing fanmail and don't send pens because they have a million of them near the signing table and their assistant will select ink color based on photo color tones.

Again, this address is only for general touring artists. Rush has passed through already this year.
