I wouldnt give up, just yet. It really all depends on the venue that you send to. Earlier this year (May or June) I sent to Kaskade at the Gorge ampitheatre and i got a great success from him :).

Armin Van Buuren and Avicii obvious failures

I've had no luck at all with VV since I started, I've been 0 for 8. (1 returned unsigned, 7 no returns at all).

I saw electronic music djs Avicii and Armin Van Buuren were going to be in Illinois this past weekend for a radio-sponsored holiday concert. So I thought "what they heck" I'll send to them. I sent two cheap 4x6 photos. The show was on the 14th, I got the two pictures back today on the 16th. There's no way I got them back this fast. I live in Connecticut.

So anyway I was surprised to see I both got them back, and figured they must have been unsigned. But no, they were obviously signed by the same girl, with probably the worst attempt I've ever seen at a forgery. I know what their signatures look like, and these two pictures are just flat out bad. With inscriptions like "Be safe" and "have a good life", they were signed in two different colour pens, not ball-point either. So they are just ugly to look at too. With these, I'm now 0/10 on music VV and I think I might just give up. These were sent to the Allstate Arena in Illinois. I'd understand if they just threw them away or returned them unsigned, but why would a venue fake-sign them?

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong...
