My Successes Via Venue This Year

by chalky10 » Sat Aug 02, 2014 7:18 am

Hello Everyone,

I have had a very busy year! I am not sure how useful this will be for everyone, but I would like to describe some of my via venue successes (and failures) from the past year. Sorry, but my wife and I are now living in Europe (Poland) and so I am writing all of this from memory. Sometimes I cannot remember what venue that I wrote to, but that hopefully this will give everyone some idea of which musicians respond via venue.

Usually, I send the musicians either a few pictures, or concert posters, cd cover or dvd case along with a letter and SESE. In the SESE, I usually put my address on the return address spot which sometimes makes it difficult for me to remember what venue I used since I frequently cannot tell what city is on the post mark. What also makes it difficult for me to remember is that I will send a letter to these musicians at every stop on the tour, so sometimes the successes come really fast while other times it takes a while and I don't know where they came from.

But I hope this will help you! These all worked from the past year, so many of these artists are still on tour. Any questions please ask!

:D
