This serial is most notable for two things: 1. It features the first appearance of Frazen Hines as Jamie McCrimmon, who would become the Doctor's companion. 2. The Highlanders is a completely missing serial, meaning that although some audio recordings, still photographs, and clips of the story exist, no episodes of this serial are known to have survived.

Success from Michael Elwyn via venue. He is currently on Broadway in "The Audience" at The Schoenfeld Theatre. This one is kinda special. Michael was Lt. Algernon Ffinch in The Highlanders, the fourth serial of the fourth season of Doctor Who (with Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor). This serial is most notable for two things: 1. It features the first appearance of Frazen Hines as Jamie McCrimmon, who would become the Doctor's companion. 2. The Highlanders is a completely missing serial, meaning that although some audio recordings, still photographs, and clips of the story exist, no episodes of this serial are known to have survived. The novelization is the only way we have the complete story. Which is why this photo isn't of the best quality; very few exist of a good enough quality to print. Michael has had plenty of roles since then, most notably Sir Edward in the BBC Series of Robin Hood. But being a Whovian, I had to go with this one. Sent February 11, 2015, received March 18, 2015.
