I got my picture signed by all three of them in July 2010, by sending to the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, MO. It was my first and only attempt.

Since that letter is not leaving the state, I would mail it four days ahead of time. Should get there in two, but add a couple to be safe. Good luck!

I mean how low does it take for it to get from one place to the other when i post it? I dont live in the US, but i will be sending it when i am over there.

Id rather not, they have a signed art book by all 3 band members on their website but its $900 (canadian) - though that does include the extremely rare sig of Neil. I'll see how i fare with this. Any idea roughly how long I should allow for the postage?

Ever thought of buying an authentic signed pic? Be careful, but there are real items out there.

Yeah I know its probably in vain, and I won't get anything from Neil. I think I've seen vv successes from them before though, and to be honest like I said, it's my last chance. Just keep my fingers crossed I guess.

Yes, honestly it depends on the bands' signing habits. there is no way to 100% get an autograph from someone. It's always a gamble.

I've tried Rush on two different occasions VV without success. I think the odds are against you.
Besides, Neil Peart does not sign. If you happened to get anyone, it would only be Geddy & Alex.

So basically I am going to be sending fanmail to my favourite band of all time Rush, who are doing what is likely to be their last tour (and they aren't coming to the UK!!) So it might be last ever chance to get their sigs. I wrote to their agent last year but unsurprisingly got nothing back. Ironically, I actually will be in Florida the week before they perform in Tampa, but I don't want to risk it not reaching them.

So what advice can you give me? Should I write something like 'the Stage manager for A/O Rush' or something like that to make sure it gets to their hands? Also, roughly how long does mail in the US take? (to save money on shipping overseas I will send it to the venue whilst I am already over there, i leave the day before they play) - how long should I allow for it to get from Orlando to Tampa? I know that isn't far but that doesn't really affect the postage times usually.
