You can check current projects on IMDb. Go to Google, type in IMDb Richard Gere, then access the link that comes up at the top of the page. That will give you his page. Yes, the Richard Gere is probably authentic. Compare it to these charity auction images I picked up the past couple years. These are charities that actually have celebrity support so they get their stuff signed in person, etc.
