Jenna not only signed the headshot and the windowcard, but she got Daniel Evans, her co-star to also sign the miniwindowcard for me! So nice.

I was so "moved" (it sounds corny, yet true) by Ms. Russell's and Mr. Evans' performance in Sunday in the Park with George when I saw it for my birthday on May 27, that I wrote a letter right away and sent it out the next day.

It really was terrific and I'll be rooting for them during the Tony Awards, in which they were both nominated. If you're in the NYC area, I really encourage you to see it. It's both stunning by the performance of those two and beautiful & cool projection designs to recreate and change the drawing and scenery. Some may find it boring, but it really is a "beautiful story, in a glorious production" (as said I think by the New York Times). It won a Pultizer prize for the original production in 1985 when it starred Bernadette Petters and Mandy Patinkin.

Ms. Russell and Mr. Evans are both actually from London, where the production originated, before coming across the Atlantic to be revived for originally four months, but extended until JUNE 29, 2008. They both can be heard on the cast recording of the show, the 2006 London Revival recording.

The address is valid until June 29, 2008 when the show closes.
