That is good they see it. They don't let it dry and they put it in the envolope quick. From now on, I ask if they don't mind using black due to the smudging. I would just ask them that. I have been sending the photos back with some unsigned ones and showing/telling them what happened and they send me letters saying sorry and sign the other photos. Worth it. {thumb2} {thumb2}

Did you print that photo out yourself? Everytime I print out photos at my house (4x6s) have smudged when the person uses a silver pen. My Travolta's smudged also!
You know, you make a really weird point by saying that! Yes, I printed that picture from my house. I got a success from Elle Fanning a while ago, and one picture she signed in silver pen and if you touch it, it rubs off. Thats the same way with Johns! Both of those pictures were printed with Kodak photo paper. That's really weird!

Well the Kodak paper doesn't work very well with the Silver pen! Neither does a few others I have tried. I usually ask the people now to sign in Black as the silver doesn't take. Mine also do rub off if I touch it. I try to get my professionally done but they don't let me due to copyright.

Yep, exactly. :/ I wish they would! I bought a nice printer, and my dad has a good one too, so I'm pretty much okayy. But I wonder what kind would be good with the silver ink! I have like, 4 different brands, but the only 2 times I've gotten silver ink back was used with the Kodak brand. Thanks for letting me know though, I never thought of that! :]
Most celebrities sign in black anyways, so thats good. And the two times I've gotten silver ink, I think they realized that it smudged and tried something else. John sent me another picture, and when Elle signed it, she signed in black for the other picture.
:)

Date Sent: Sometime in March 2008
Date Received: July 5th, 2008

Address Used:
John Travolta
'The Taking of Pelham 123'
Escape Artists
c/o Lacy Boughn
10202 W. Washington Blvd.
Astaire Bldg., 3rd Fl.
Culver City, CA 90232

I sent John a letter, SASE, picture, and a DVD insert for him to sign for my dad.
He signed the photo that I included for me, but it smudged & got onto my dad's DVD insert. So he signed both sides of that, and put in 2 different 4x6 photos personalized to us. I only scanned the ones that I got because my dad has his. (: The other picture my dad got was the one that he also sends out from his fanmail address. I thought it was really nice that he sent us the extra 2 pictures. (:
He even payed the extra $0.01 for shipping, how nice. :] lol!

By the way, I do not care if you think it's secretarial or whatever, so please don't post anything about that. Thank you!
