Just a quick update —

Apparently, William Melling attended a convention in Pensacola in 2016. But since then it’s been very hard to find what has been happening, so I don’t know what the situation is. I don’t know if he’s stopped acting all together and focusing on ‘video/media production’ or ‘content commentary’. I think it’s very unlikely I’m going to be able to get these things signed at the moment. I completely at a loss to how to proceed.

William Melling also doesn’t appear, to have attended any Harry Potter or generic conventions, with possibly the last one being LeakyCon in 2012. Where I found several interviews on YouTube, and other social media sites, such as Pinterest. It’s strange because after 2018, there is literally no record of him anywhere, no images online of what he looks like now, no record of any activities undertaken in any subject, or topic, it’s almost like, if he doesn’t exist anymore! There was a couple of videos I found related to brown bear films Ltd, when was about his tragic brothers accident - Bruno. Which I thought was very touching, and the way it was produced was really talented. I felt very sad watching it. There was also a couple of videos about sport or something similar. But aside from that I can’t find anything at all, so I’m completely struck and I’m thinking of abandoning the effort altogether. Anyway, hopefully you might have better luck, than me, as I guess that the Admins here, and some other of the site users at the moment, maybe more suited to solving this mystery than myself.

I contacted: independent element group Ltd, recently to see if I could send a photograph to get signed and returned, by William Melling, but he is no longer listed on their clients list webpage, and they said they couldn’t help me further. I have tried searching online to see if I can get this signed, but my research has come to nothing, he appears to be in a couple of TV shows and films, after Harry Potter, between the years of 2012 to 2018. But then after 2018, it becomes very sketchy. There is no mention of him setting up a company in London., or at least helping to set one up, called ‘brown bear films Ltd’, and a LinkedIn profile, seems to suggest that he may be a ‘media content commentator’, who is self-employed, in South Bank, London. But that’s it. Absolutely completely gutted, and sad that I could not get this sorted. It just seems like at the minute I’m 11 years too late, and because I was in a special school, between the ages of 11 to 19, I unfortunately couldn’t go at the time to the events that it was at in the past, but as it stands, I’m in the present (2023). So, short of building a time machine, I don’t see what can be done further, at this point.
