When I just heard about Dom's sudden death, I was shocked and heartbroken. I will miss him a lot too because he is my very first celebrity to send me an autograph and I will never forget that. NEVER. I can't remember when exactly I received it but it was a couple of years ago. He also sent me a nice letter that I will never forget. I did see him perform in these following live action movies: [i]The Muppet Move, The Glass Bottom Boat, Cannonball Run [/i], and [i]Blazzing Saddles[/i]. But, what I really like to him best for is his voice acting because I just love the characters that he voiced in these following animated films: [i]The Secret of NIMH, An American Tail, An Amercian Tail: Fievel Goes West, Oliver & Company, [/i]and [i]All Dogs go to Heaven[/i]. I am still waiting for his pal Burt Reynolds to give me his autograph and I hope Burt is very sad about Dom's death as I am. If they ever need a replacement for the characters he voiced, I would be glad to voice them because I can imitate his voice. Also, Dom is one of my major influences that made me want to be a voice actor and comedian along with the following people I am influenced by: Jim Cummings ([i]Darkwing Duck[/i]), Robin Williams ([i]Aladdin[/i]), Cheech Marin ([i]Oliver & Company, Cars[/i]), David Spade ([i]The Emperor’s New Groove[/i]), Dave Foley ([i]A Bug’s Life[/i]), Burt Reynolds ([i]All Dogs go to Heaven[/i]), Gilbert Gottfried ([i]Aladdin[/i]), Eddie Murphy ([i]Mulan, Shrek[/i]), Chris Rock ([i]Osmosis Jones, Madagascar[/i]), Jim Carrey ([i]The Mask, Horton Hears a Who[/i]), and Jason Marsden ([i]A Goofy Movie, The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride[/i]). I will miss him so much. Rest in peace Dom DeLuise. I love you. :cry:
