Neil has been my childhood hero. Sic itur ad astra "thus one goes to the stars"

Some important information for people that actually think they have an authentic Neil Armstrong autograph. Anything purchased is more then likely a well done forgery.

"The notoriously publicity shy Armstrong was a reluctant hero. In an era of celebrity adulation, Armstrong refused to sign autographs or grant interviews, giving only infrequent speeches. "I don't want a living memorial,'' he once said. He reluctantly joined fellow Apollo 11 astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins in anniversary celebrations of the moon landing."

Those that didn't get his autograph while he was alive definitely won't be able to afford it now that he is dead. Like Babe Ruth's autograph the only way you will get an actual authentic of him now will be through the major auction houses and those will sell for at least the average person's yearly wage.
