I'm sure many already know, but I'm sad to impart the news of the death of English comedy legend Rik Mayall who passed away earlier today the 9th June at the age of 56. This was totally sudden and unexpected, thought to have been due to a fit following a quad-biking accident in 1998 which left him with epilepsy. I believe I am the last person to have ever received an autograph success on Fanmail.biz from Rik, having received his autographs 2 months ago in April, and posting them here.

Rest in Peace Rik Mayall......

Famous for The Young Ones, Bottom, The Comic Strip Presents, Blackadder. The list is absolutely endless.

I am so absolutely saddened by this news.
