Ricky I know it's a big ASK, but my brother John passed away last week he was your biggest fan to the point he used to model himself as Jim Royal. I don't know if your busy next Thursday 22/10/15 but it would be such an honour to our family if you could attend the funeral service on Scotland Road, Liverpool. John died tragically at the age of 39 and we could all do with a bit of a lift. I met you once at the Towngate theatre I'd been to see your tour and you was book signing afterwards, you probably don't remember but while we were chatting I rang our John who was living in Oxford and you gave him a right Royal mouth full down the phone calling him a Lanky string of piss...believe me when I say He dined out on that conversation for years to come. I'm a great believer in ....If you don't ask you don't get, so I thought It was worth an ASK.
