I've had lousy luck purchasing photos online. They always arrive creased. So I no longer order that way.
You can search through the net for photos using search engines (Yahoo, Google, Bing, etc) or by finding fan clubs. For an 8x10 you'll want your file to be around 800x1000 pixels or they won't print out right. I print them out by using Walmart's online site. If I need it right away I use the 1 hour service, otherwise I use the site-to-store service. With one hour service your only choice is a matte finish. Site-to-store offers the choice between a matte or glossy finish. It's about as cheap as you can go unless you have a membership at Sam's Club, Costco,or the like.
