I usually just send my email autograph requests as follows :

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is .... and I'm an ...year old fan of ....from (city), (country). As I'm a great admirer of their work, I would be greatly appreciative if I could receive an autographed photo from them. May I kindly request one be sent to me?

Thank you very much
(name and surname)
(address)

Works like a charm, everytime. Don't worry about it being short, the person on the receiving end doesn't want to sit through an essay.

Good luck! {thumb2}

Sending requests via email?

Hi Everyone

Does anyone know how I would go about requesting autographs through email? I have looked on the database and people seem to have got successes from Katie Melua and The Puppini Sisters (both artists I like) this way. I'm a bit unsure about what to say though - I would feel a bit mean just asking for an autograph like normal when they would be paying for postage for me!

Does anyone who has contacted celebrities through email have any advice? It would be much appreciated!

Rachael
