I would recommend against it. You want to make it easier for someone to reply to you. Certified mail is more money and regardless, if they're not expecting a certified letter they can simply ignore the notice (which has who it's from) or send it back. Save sending things by special delivery for those irreplaceable items to people you know will respond, and who are expecting your package.

I wouldn't recommend that but I also haven't tried it. Certified mail is pretty expensive though I can see using it occasionally for a special letter.

i'm going to be sending actress lindsay price some pics from 90210 to sign w/a sase anyway my question is i have seen some ttm autograph collectors/fans report success sending fan mail to certain celebrities certified mail where someone has to sign for it getting things back autographed ttm that way, i'm curious has there been a lot of success w/different celebrities this way?? i'd appreciate any feedback on this, thank you joe ray
