I always send a sase. I only send SAEs when I send out of country. The less popular celebs might pay the postage for you but ones that get a lot of fanmail will disregard you letter without a second thought. Sometimes a SASE is the difference between them just ignoring it or them realizing you're serious enough about wanting their autograph.

you're only 14? wow i thought you were older! you're very mature :D and i know what that's like, i started collecting at 12 and had to mooch my poor mom for stamps. but thanks i hope i get some back too! {??}

I always send a SASE, basically I think it may increase my chances of a reply and IMO its more manily to send one lol

I agree with the above post - to send a SASE, thus paying for postage, is considered polite as you want something from the celebrity. {thumb2} But, of course, there are some celebrities who are happy to pay for postage too, recent celebs I got who sent their own envelopes with postage paid include Charlie Cox, Ben Barnes (before he started sending out secretarials) and Robert Pattinson. :D

I always send SASE's, to me it seems like it's nicer to pay for postage.
