Hey!
I have only sent an A4 poster off though, so I'm no expert about sending big things.
It all really depends on how big your poster is, if it's one of the fold ups you get in a magazine, it should be able to fit in an A4 envelope, although you might have to fold it and check out the postage price on it.
If it's one of those posters you get from HMV/Music shops or wherever, you should use one of those massive toilet-roll tubes which you could possibly get from the post office, and
remember to put a return address (Your home address) on it, in case the celebrity doesn't accept it. If it's one of the music shop ones, you should be able to get a fairly skinny one anyway.
